Is this picture idyllic as a result of good wine, we also dare you to try.  Skadar Lake is one of our most beautiful National parks. Certainly its beauty is unique, and nature has given it the ideal conditions for growing our autochthonous Vranac grape variety.

The number of wineries in the villages around Skadar Lake is increasing, which means that people are passionately devoting themselves to this old activity . Often wine makers praise themselves with medals that they won at competitions!

Wine tradition around Skadar Lake

Above all local wineries produce wine according to traditional recipes of the old masters. It is also a precious tradition that locals have been passing over from one generation to the other. Therefore lovers of good wine will always find an excuse to indulge themselves… and finally have one more glass!

The people who have been immersed their whole life in this wine environment will tell you that it is precisely wine that proves that God loves us, for that reason wants to see us happy and blushing!

Our wine tasting tour will have us visit two or three wineries, try at least nine different types of top wine and some grappa. While the one winery will serve a bruschetti (our national prosciutto, cheese, olives) which is an ideal way to enjoy a winery’s magical atmosphere and finally hear interesting wine stories. Optional you can order a lunch, price would be around 25-35 euro per person.

* There is also a possibility to visit only one winary with 6 sorts of wine, 8 liqueurs and 5 brandies. All this is served with Montenegrin plate, prssutto, cheese, olives , salads, pie. Of course price is reduced 🙂
