Montenegro terra incognita

In combination of two National Parks (Prokletije and Biogradska Gora) with rarely visited paths we will show you Montenegro terra incognita .
This is a hidden gem not so far away from our capital, but somehow skipped by every touristic offer. Certainly is not less beautiful, less wild or less interesting than any of our other national parks.
We have just unjustly sacrificed this treasure until we promote other parts of our country.
So there is an incredible thing regarding this place – what is saved from the mass tourism, nature made priceless in all of its authentic glory of wilderness.

Day 1 Firstly we will visit National Park Biogradska gora from where we are going to have easy hiking. Our stop is in Ethno village where we will have traditional lunch. Bjelasica as a pearl of Montenegrin mountains in a different season change looks, but always takes a breath away. Colorful scenery with music of a birds while wind playing on herbs till we are connecting our soul with Mother Nature. We will continue our hiking on a way to Mojkovac where we are going to overnight. In total, hiking is around 14 km. All hiking routs are flexible depending of your preferences.

Day 2 From Kolasin today we will go by new road to Plav and Plavsko lake, on our way wwe will have a lot of small stops, on this day we also can organize jeep tour or something similar. Overnight Plav.

Day 3 Today from valley Grebaje we will start 8 hours hiking tour called Talijanka, Popadija, Volusnica. This hiking rout is around 8 hours , elevation 1000m. This tour is part of famous tour Via Dinarica, the Peaks of Balkans. Here you will see the and of Alps massive and the most beautiful landscapes, from this mountains. Tour is a bit challenging but if you prefer we can change it for peak Karaula.

Day 4 (optional) If you choose 4 days of this beautiful activities for this day we will visit Hridsko lake on over 2000 m above the sea level . Also this is a part of Via Dinarica therefore a pert of National Park Prokletije as well. By the legend, this was a lake where fairies use to come to swim. There is a believe if you swim here magnificent things will start to happen in your life. It is not strange, because we must be very lucky to see this treasure which will always stay in our hearts. We will start hiking from Municipality Plav, around 14 km and after hiking we will return back to Podgorica trough Albania. We will have opportunity too visit canyon of river Cijevna and this rocky sea.

This routs unfortunately are not so well known and somehow stayed unfamiliar even to our locals. But people who had this lucky to visit this Montenegro tierra incognita part always keep returning back, if nothing else than at least in our memories.
