Northern Fairy Tale of Montenegro is paradise for nature lovers and people which are passionate about any kind of outdoors activities.

Listed by Lonely Planet as Best in Europe 2017 travel destinations, Northern Montenegro is a country most valuable treasure.  On this tour, we will focus on Durmitor National Park. Inscribed on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1980. This amazing mountain range was formed by glaciers, features 18 glacial lakes and is surrounded by three canyons. Mostly known is definitely Tara River Canyon with deepest gorges in Europe. And of course, we will take you at one of the most beautiful view point on the canyon. Northern Montenegro has a lot of possibility for any kind of activities.

You can also choose to hike around fantastic “Black Lake”, the biggest and the most beautiful Lake in Durmitor, settled deep into the dense pine forest. On our way to Zabljak we will also travel trough one part of Durmitor ring and we will see Pivsko lake in Pluzine. There are no words to describe this part of our country and there is no camera good enough too record landscape of Northern Fairy Tale.

Different colors of the nature in a different seasons is something what this tour make always new and fascinating. Trsa, Sedlo, Prutas are just some of the places of Durmitor National Park.  You also can meet it trough a hiking tour (on request) and than you can say that you have touched the sky.

Spending night in a beautiful wooden cottage

After spending a night in Zabljak , in beautiful wooden cottage, we continue our journey by visiting Đurđevića Tara Bridge. Concrete arch bridge over the Tara River, one of the most visited landmarks of Montenegro. On the way to Biogradska Gora National Park we will have opportunity to pass through River Tara Canyon and to enjoy in natural beauty.

Finally, we will take you to National Park Biogradska Gora, the site of one of the last three virgin forests in Europe. Also here you will have time for walking around lake.
